Our People

Ann Gallagher - President
(She/Her). I have been on the Board of Management for five years and President for a year and a half. I joined the Board of Management as I always utilised the centre for programs and activities for both myself and my now adult children and an opportunity came up to be able to give back to the community.

Troy Pearl - Vice President
I have been on the Committee for about 3-4 years. The Community Centre is one of the only things we have in Blind Bight and it brings a wide variety of activities and opportunities to locals. We have one of the most amazing communities here, and the centre brings people together from all walks of life, strengthens bonds and provides cost effective activities, entertainment, educational opportunities and supports such as occasional care and playgroups. I hope to see more activities and more people from the Blind Bight and Coastal Villages utilisng this amazing facility to its full potential. I hope the Centre can offer even more activities to try to reach out and attract more locals to use this as a real community hub.
Personal interests: Passionate Cats fan; Wife Jacqui, daughter Mollie and son Logan; Motorbike (Road) rider and love anything to do with music.

Trish - Community Gardening
My name is Trish. I moved to this area about 8 years ago and have been a volunteer ever since, enjoying attending and helping with various local events.
My interests are permaculture and sustainable living which led me to being involved in the creation of the community garden at BBCC, being the co-ordinator of a monthly garden group and arranging a local monthly crop swap.
I love growing food and sharing produce with the lovely local residents and listening to stories about their gardens over a shared cuppa. The garden group welcomes everyone - from those who want to learn some basics to others who are happy to share their considerable knowledge.
